They say nicotine is harder to quit than heroin. I don't know about that
since I've never been addicted to heroin. But I was addicted to nicotine
and I can say from experience that that little demon doesn't like to let go.
Took a long time and many attempts for me to finally quit. It's been 4
years for me, after about 15 years or so of smoking. And I'm still probably
only one cigarette away from smoking a pack a day.
