Well Tom, if you will, tell Cam I am more than willing to clear the air.
If he doesn't want anything to do with it, so be it.

It's unfortunate. Once again, if I'm wrong, I am willing to state the same
and withdraw my claim. If someone wants to review the information or show
me I'm wrong, please feel free to contact me. I will not hide anything.
I'd love to be wrong on this. I promise that I will behave if someone wants
to dig into this. No tricks.....

You know Tom, I was pretty offended by several things that went down. When
it gets to a point where I feel someone is abusing my trust, I don't have a
choice but to call someone's bluff. I shouldn't have to do it, especially
to him. But circumstances dictated it.

You have/had your own issues with me. That's fine. I don't take it
personally, even if you do/have. That is each person's choice. But almost
without exception, I have left you alone unless you proffered controversial
subjects. Your little forays into politics being the best example. Most of
the oldbees know what subjects are going to stir up certain subsets of this
NG. Everyone here, including myself, assumes the risk whenever we hit
"send."

I have said plenty of things here that were unnecessarily inflammatory. And
I have been scolded for it. It's the name of the game. I've learned. But
hey, I don't make it a habit of flaming or scolding newbees, or anyone else.
Flaming is not my thing -- I'm not good at, and never will be.

However, the oldbees know that on certain subjects, I am going to prod them
point by point and on accuracy. And I expect the same in return. Some
people take offense to it, and that is fine. Arguments are beautiful things
when done well (TV and NP). Personal cracks are funny when done to the
right person at the right time (see SFTM). However, admittedly, that has
not always been the case here.

Calling someone out is not as funny as it is sad. But sometimes, I think it
is necessary. I do not believe it is good practice to allow personal
feeling to get in the way of verifiable facts, no matter how much it sucks.
I know that some people wish these things wouldn't happen, but they do.
