Seriously...why is she so famous?? I wuz on the phone at work around 3pm
today and my colleague says to me...hey, did you hear Anna Nicole Smith died
today...she keeled over dead. I'm like...no, but I guess that's kinda sorta
interesting. Yet, I come home and it's all over the internet and here we
are discussing it alt.DC. To me she's nothing more than trailer park trash
who used her body to coax people's interest in her. She is the epitome of
all blonde jokes.

Certain people such as ANS, Jennifer Wilbanks (the runaway bride),
Paris Hilton, and the like seem to fill in a void of
interesting/"shocking" news that is akin to doing something
embarrassing in one's life and finding out it is being broadcast all
over the English-speaking world.
Recent article about the actor Michael Madsen (from Wargames,
Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2, etc.) has him saying that most of
the media ignores him since he doesn't go around acting like an idiot
or cheating on his wife... since supposedly for real, he's actually a
family man with not only a wife but two children. Most of his movie
roles are not big and for maybe 5 minutes of work a $1 million
paycheck, why not? What does this have to do with ANS? She craved
the attention. Similarly, Victoria Abril, a French actress, also
craves attention and if you look on Google Pictures, you should be
able to find pics of hers at the Cannes film festival... wearing a
jacket, panty, and maybe shoes... since most of the pics of her
wearing that attire in front of the press don't show if she is wearing
shoes or not.
News about drug dealers selling drugs to kids a few years ago was
maybe shocking but doesn't really gather much press unless if it is
the mayor's son who gets hurt/shot or it is a celebrity (Hugh Grant
getting serviced or supposedly famous rapper gets shot) or similar,
then it becomes more interesting.
Michael Jackson does need to learn about staying away from the
kiddies esp. since he's ignoring his own advise of "Be careful of what
you do because the lie becomes the truth!"
