pre AC/DC

Just bought the 1974 'Something to say' album by a band called Buster Brown.
This band combined the talents of two Aussie rockers, Angry Anderson and
Phil Rudd. It's a great album with some good bluesy guitar solos.

In the booklet Rudd's name is given as Rudzevecuis. In some AC/DC books this
name also appears. Since Rudd was born in Melbourne, I just wonder where his
original name is from. Is he also an immigrant's son?

Anyone got a clue on this?
