...length or a time limit for a "concerto"? Someone told me it is 18-20 minutes - but I had the impression they were only guessing!

i've never heard of a time limit for anything in classical music. it's a form of art, so i think the art would be losing its integrity if there were a time limit put on it. it would be like stealing monet's brush when he's only half-done with his painting!

Classical music consoles are generally lengthy and they does not have the limit of timings. So i do agree that the person who tell you about it are just guessing.
