I have no idea, but agree with you 100%. I wish we, or someone, could find it and bring it back. Even some of todays better singers, like Randy Travis and Vince Gill, have gone gospel. Now, I have nothing against gospel music, but they sung country really good too.

It sounds like you like the old "outlaw" kind of country. Me too.I enjoy most of all the old stuff. There is a station here that plays it. I listen to it all the time. It is 92.5 The Outlaw. I think they have a web site.I hope you can find a station near you like this.Nothing like a good ole crying in your beer song. : )

I agree too, and you may like the group Swampdawamp. (If you like Skynyrd, and other boot kickin' southern rock/country). These guys are produced by Skynyrd's producer and they're definitely not goin the gospel route!

I don't know, see if you dig 'em. I know you can find them on myspace.
