You can find a bootleg (live) recording of the 4/1 performance of Lestat
on Broadway at a.b.sounds.mp3.musicals. It has 40 tracks. This is live
from Broadway previews.

You can find several files (7 I think) that are bootleg (live)
recordings from the run in San Francisco at the official Lestat fan
club. Some of the links are dead, so it's a crapshoot. They are in the
MUSIC thread.

There are 2 different "versions" of the real Elton John demos floating
about. There is a "7 track" one someone is selling on EBay. It only has
some of the available demos. Make Me As You Are was available for
download from Amazon.com a while ago. It is the same as the song on the
demo CD. These can be obtained at the Yahoo Musicals Group.

There is also a 2CD (14 track) complete demo available with full
orchestrations & sung by EJ. The 7 songs on the shorter demo are the
same ones on the 2CD. The earlier post listing the demos is correct,
they are studio recorded DEMO TRACKS and not live recordings from San
Francisco or Broadway.

If the EJ AIDA demos are an indication of what to expect, then I think
the
2 -CD compilation will be to die for !!

Anyone have this on CDs and not MP3s? Where can you get all these
songs? I've only heard of 7 tracks.
