There is this song called Strange Fruit by Billie Holiday. Its about lynching in the South and was banned from radio, etc. due to its graphic lyrics. Ironically the song was written by a white, jewish man who wanted to let people know what was still happening in the south. Listen to it, its really sad, but it gets a point across. Look it up because the song was a big deal. Hope this helps!
