well one of my favortie songs is The Misfits-Dig up her bones. I also like that song (not really punk rock) Hellogoodbye- Shimmy Shimmy Quarter Turn. I like the song Avenged Sevenfold- Beast and the Harlot. You're all idiots giving the most generic antiseptic punk anyone would say to listen to. Bottom line you need to look past the shitty sex pistols. You already know all the major hitters like black flag and the germs. I would go Minutemen, The damned (who don't sing jet boy, jet girl a band called Chron Gen who is also really good does), Richard Hell and the Voidoids, The Adverts, Satanic Surfers, Crass, Flux of Pink Indians, Angelic Upstarts, Angry Samoans, Choking Victim, The Exploited, Reagan Youth, Youth Brigade, Subhumans, Ill repute, Verbal Abuse, Rudimentary Peni, Abrasive Wheels, GG Allin, I could go on but stop bullshitting yourself, as much as you can love the music and the life it comes with, its all one big heap of bullshit, don't get hung up on whats punk or not. I would recomend The Pixies, The modern Lovers, Anything by peter tosh, burning spear, jacob miller, the gladiators, Talking Heads, even Against Me!(there older stuff of course) The Cat Empire, The Pharcyde, Max Romeo and the Upsetters, The Trashies, Ghost Mice, Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains, Pepper, Sublime, Certian Slightly Stoopid, Streetlight Manifesto, The Specials, Reel Big Fish, Black Sabbath, The Pogues, Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys, The Beatles, The Aquabats!, Black Sheep, EPMD, Public Enemy, Eek-a-mouse, that's all different kinds of shit right there. Life's too short to be ignorant with your taste in music, get high and enjoy it, don't force it so you can be more "punk" whatever that means
