How does Reggae Music related to Marijuana.

I listen to Reggae music, and I don't smoke marijuana... in my life, they are not related at all.It's kind of like asking how listening to country music relates to drinking beer. Not every country fan is at the bar, and doing the 2 step.

Jamaica is renowned for it's marijuana and the artists are known to smoke a lot as they compose their music and the general consensus is that it is more enjoyable to listen to when you are under the influence.

well bob marley sang reggae and sung about it in his music and smoke marjuana i guess ppl jus got it frm him..

Spegon do has a point, it doesn't really matter.I listen to a lot of reggae music and some of the lyrics are mostly about getting high usually by marijuana. but not all reggae music only some.

i agree, but maybe people also relate reggae music and smoking weed together because reggae music has a laid back vibe to it... and people smoke weed to chill right? i dunno but i know my friends like to listen to reggae while they smoke....they just be kickin back and stuff
