there are evil rap and rock. but i listen to christian rap an rock and they're both pretty good. not evil or degrading etc. all rock isn't bad. try grps like third day, kutless and switchfoot.

Rock Music is not evil! At least I can listen to it without getting a migrane. And there are a lot more drug problems associated with rap than with rock and roll. Seriously.... I think the whole music business is polluted with that kind of stuff and it doesn't matter the genre. Rock and rap have just been more popular so you hear more about the abuse.As a major Rock and Roll fan myself, I have never done drugs, I am 18 and a virgin, and would never think about taking part in a satanic rite.
